Well I'm not in England, but I've seen the Blue Chip brand in catalogs and they sell for about $80 a set.
Depending on what you will be doing, either should work. The most important thing about a chisel is getting it and keeping it sharp. I have a cheap set of Craftsman chisels from Sears ($20 for four) and they work well. I use a Worksharp sharpening machine to keep them honed.
