AAAHHH!!!! Okay I tried the slime recipe I read that someone posted abt gelatin, glycerin and warm water....?
and I did it except it was only testing so I changed the recipe from 4 envelopes of gelatin to 1.
8 oz of warm water to 5 oz
and 1 oz of Glycerin to 0.7 oz
I mixed it and refrigerated it w/ a plastic covering over the top. I didn't check it until the next night but it ISN'T all slimy like it's suppose to be!! It was just lime jello!!!
Here's the original recipe provided by melissaw77:
gelatin maybe but here is a recipeMaterials: 4 envelopes of unflavored gelatin
8 ounces of warm water
1 ounce of Glycerin (availble at Drug Stores)
Food Coloring (any color)
Directions: Dissolve the Gelatin in the warm water along with the Glycerin. Add the food coloring of your choice. Then you can pour it into molds that have been sprayed with vegtable oil. Muffin molds work well. Let the Slime set and then after about 20 or so minutes, you can take the Slime out. They can tear easliy so handle them with care.
What'd I do WRONG????
If you only used 1 out of 4 envelopes of unflavored gelatin, you need to use only 1/4th of all of the ingredients.
So 2 ounces of water and .25 oz of glycerin!
