Keeping a car emergency kit in your Nissan is a good way to prevent minor situations from becoming potential emergencies. Maryland Nissan suggests keeping a preparedness kit in the trunk of your car, so you'll be ready for whatever challenges you might face whether traveling around the state of Maryland or across the country.
Here are some suggestions for what types of things you might include in your Nissan emergency kit:
- Flashlight and extra batteries (remember to replace batteries every few months because even unused batteries begin to lose their power)
- Road flares
- White flag for window
- Orange caution cones
- Jumper cables
- Travel-sized tool kit
