What's the best kind of hammer?
went to hardware store and was confronted by huge variety of choices, and couldn't decide, there were fiberglass, graphite, wooden, steel, different kinds of claws, etc. I want a quality, durable hammer that is not too heavy for general purpose work, nailing, removing nails and ripping up stuff. Any advice? Thanks
If you miss alot I would get an eastwing or some thing similar in design
it has a slim metal neck and a nice punch
If you miss to many times with a wood, graphite or, fiberglass hammer you may need a new one soon
as for the claw they are labeled for what you will need them for.

and a cats claw is best for light ripping a crow bar will get the heavy stuff some times a hammer just dont cut it
