Who are the "Us" that Wall Street should join?
Here's a quote from the Cooper Union speech last week,
"But I'm here today specifically, when I speak to the titans of industry here, because I want to urge you to join us, instead of fighting us in this effort."
So what is this effort, this reform, this hope, this change? From a past speech, you know that "WE are the change that we have been waiting for."
And of course you know that last month Al Sharpton stated "The American people overwhelmingly voted for Socialism when they elected President Obama."
And from the Joe the Plumber discussion, "when you spread the wealth around, it's good for everybody."
Even in 1995, the official newspaper of the Democratic Socialists of America reported that " one of our members, Barack Obama, was elected Illinois State Senator "
So, who are the "Us" that Wall Street should join?
The big bad government. Really, Obama just proved he's socialist/communist. Or maybe just anti-free market. If he wants to take the corporations under his control (which is really what he's implying) then that is not free market. Either that or he means they should obey the law. Which would make no sense because they already do that.
