how do i catch a bass?
there is this nice 20 inch 4lb large mouth bass that is near a shore in this pond. when ever i try to cast out she will swim away and then come back and just stare at my bait. i used worms, cray fish, and dead/live minnows. any tips on how to catch it? and it looks like she has a nest because she hovers over that one spot and circles it.
Fist b4 u go back and waste a bunch of time, u cant always use small live or fake bait if its a bigger fish u need a bigger bait, i had the same problem there for a while but what u need to use are larger bait for instance try using a large light colored salamander lure and if its further away try using a jitterbug crankbait, i use these all the time and it was very successful, oh and 1 more thing if these dont work try using larger fake bait such as worms or lizards wit dangling lims that flail in water they work like a charm...good luck
