Can I keep a knife in my car in Hawaii?
I'm 18, live in Hawaii, and was thinking about getting a rescue knife to keep in my car for general purposes just in case I need it when I'm camping or during an emergency; also the window punch and seat belt cutter could come in handy if something extreme happens. I was looking at the laws here: http://www.capitol.hawaii.gov/hrscurrent/Vol03_Ch0121-0200D/HRS_0134-0051.htm but am having a hard time interpreting it; am I allowed to carry this knife or not? It's a 4 inch, spring assisted blade.
Spring assisted would be prohibited.}{
