why does my car smell like gasoline when started and blows out smoke?
I bought a kit and this is what came in my kit and was replaced.
Left Valve Cover
Right Valve Cover
Plug Hole Plate
and 20 Grommets
I thought this kit was replacing valve stem seals which takes care of smoking??
my car is a 91 mazda 929
No, this was not a valve stem repair. This was a valve cover gasket kit. You need to disassemble the head to replace the valve stems.
