ZX6R J2 - Identify this noise?
When I ride along, say 1st 2nd around 30 mph i hear a
'Duh dug duh duh' Which gets faster as I acelerate.
Its almost to the point it could be the chain but its fine,its not tight and not too loose. About an inch play.
Any idea coz its starting to bugg me.
Obviously the fatster Igo the faster the 'duh duh duh' gose. Like a 'rotary' sound.
Sorry but the duh duh duh is all that sounds.
Cam chain is fine, I had the checked.
I have this on SV aswell, maybe dirty sparks I dont know.
Will check the axel
Could be a brake caliper binding, a dry or worn wheel bearing or sprocket carrier bearing, something rubbing on the tyre.
You really need to get the wheels off the ground (a paddock stand is ideal) & rotate the wheels by hand to locate this sort of noise.
