Leather Tool Kit
1968 Honda 125 Motorcycle?

I have had this bike forever it is all original with 2416 miles;owners manual; tool kit; no rips or tears in the leather. I was going to restore it but have been told not to change it because it could alter the value if I were to sell;can anyone give me any info on the value if I restore or if I don't.

Well you already heard that if it is worn and in need of restoring then yes restore it. But if the paint is still good runs good and as you say has no tears in the leather it probably does not need restoring. I can't tell you want it is worth but I can tell you that my first motorbike was a 1969 Honda 90 Scrambler in 1969. Of course that bike is history and probably went to the junk bin years ago, but in 2001 I went to a biker rally and someone had a 1969 Honda Scrambler 90 for sale and it was mint condition. I do not know if it was all original or restored but to give you an idea of what you may be able to get for your 125 that 1969 Scrambler 90 sold for $2300.00. Heck Mine cost only $300.00 brand new in 1969. I am not saying you will be able to get that much for yours but I did see this bike sell for that.

Edit: The bike that sold for $2300 was at a Rally with over 25000 people so that may have made a difference in the selling price. Personally I would not pay over $800.00 myself but then I buy bikes to ride everywhere and a 1969 small bike would mainly be for show. I would only buy one to remind me of my first bike and first year of riding. Something to play around with.

Thanks for looking at our Leather Tool Kit information.
