Max Hammer
are my maximum weight lifting reps for my age good?

i'm 16 years old
these are max's
bench - 205lb
bicept curl -150-
dips- my body weight ( 160) plus 2 45 plates and a 25
tricept pull down 165lb
leg press - 850lb
bicept hammer curls 50lbs each hand
shurgs - 300lb
... i want to know how this compares me to other people.
is this good for my age?

Weight is irrelative, just keep the weight to where you can control it, and 6 -12 reps for power and mass. Just remember that you are in control of the weight, make reps slow 2 seconds up, and 4 seconds on the release. You get the mass from the up, and the strength from the controlling the release. No sloppy jerking of the weight just to get more- you have to be in control at all times. No matter how many reps you do, it's the last ones you have to struggle with are the only ones that count, all the ones leading up to the few at the end is just practice, wearing the muscles out for the final few that make results. If you can have a friend spot you, when you can't do any more, have him help with just one or two fingers to help you squeak out a few extra reps that you normally don't get.
Also, make sure that you only work out each muscle group every other day, you have to wear them down, then let them recover a day. A good diet is just as important as lifting, you can't get big on junk food!

Thanks for looking at our Max Hammer information.
