New yellow clown goby??
I bought as clown goby, acclimated correctly 2 oz. every ten mins. he hs been in there since 7 45 after 8 now. Well he is not moving much (I know that they are not the most active fish), he has lost almost all its color its very very pale no longer bright yellow. I thought he was dead so i put the net in his face and he tok off, I don't want to stress him any more but I can not tell if he is dead or alive. The lights are off so that means that they will be very inactive. He just looks pale, other fish are fine, water parameter were checked at 6 everything was perfect. Salt fine. Temp=76.1 F (a little low but heater just kicked on so it should heat up a little bit more.)
He is fine now, woke up turned on the lights feed the fish and he popped up with the other fish ready to eat, and all of his color is back. Thank you for answering!
A number of fish loose their colour after lights out.My mandarin fish looks horrible at night but when the lights come on all his colour comes back.If the lights are out maybe he just wants to sleep.It can take afew days for fish to come to terms with a new tank.I wouldnt worry to much.
