I'm building a computer, will these parts work together.?

Is this a good gaming computer?

Is this going to be a fast computer with Xp Pro 64-bit?
Is this a good value?

For a gaming PC, I'm not fond of that particular processor and graphics card choice. Instead of a $235 processor (plus a $43 cooler) and that $85 8600gt card for a total of $363, you could get something like a e8400 ($190, comes with stock Intel cooler) plus a Radeon 4850 ($175) for a total of $365. Even something like a e7200 ($130) plus the 4850 should be better than the original configuration for most games. This would mean changing your motherboard. You could get something like a GIGABYTE GA-G31M-S2L if you still want a cheaper micro ATX board, or maybe get a GIGABYTE GA-EP35-DS3L.

One other thing: I don't know how good that power supply is (quality-wise, at 630w it has enough capacity). For the same money, you could get something like an Antec EA650 or spend $15 more and get this:

(Though, the Antec Earthwatts PSU you get may now be made be Delta instead of Seasonic, and I haven't seen any reviews about the Deltas).

Thanks for looking at our Sf Power Drive information.
