R&P What made you fall in love with your favorite performer?
For me, I went to a concert, and this guy came out whose name I barely knew... and played the guitar, and it sounded like three different people playing at the same time...I was BLOWN out of my CHAIR....
....and his name was.... STEVIE RAY VAUGHAN
...and to this day, his guitar solos make me want to WEEP WITH JOY.
RIP SRV You are missed.

I have so many, I don't know if I could peg down just one artist. I can definitely say that in general, what makes me fall in love with a performer is their unique sound and the energy that their sound creates. I feel like music is the most powerful force in this universe. It can change an entire room full of people's mood just by placing notes in a certain order. When a performer finds their own niche to manipulate notes and sounds, it's really nothing short of a miracle. SRV, was without a doubt one of those performers. MILLIONS of people can play a SRV tune on the guitar, but I've yet to EVER hear ANYONE who can give that guitar the same voicing that Stevie did. He made the guitar speak with a voice as unique as any human's voice on this earth. So after my long rambling response, the short answer to "what made you fall in love with your favorite performer" would simply be "uniqueness".
