My husband and I are looking into getting a new washer and dryer, but we're not sure what to look for?
We'd like to get a front-loading stackable washer and dryer. I don't know what's good out there or not - I've seen to avoid the GE Adora and to look into the following: LG Combo units, FisherPaykel, Whirlpool Duet, Siemens/Bosch, Frigidair & Maytag - but this was all based in February 2006 so things probably have changed since then. We're looking at spending maybe $2k max on these - preferably cheaper, but we want to get some good ones that'll last.
We have a set of LG front loading and my wife loves them. We don't use a third of detergent that we used. The towels now dry in about 15 minutes instead of 45. They were not the top of the line but most people do not use all the features anyway. Get the stands to put under them.
