TILER PORCELAIN FLOOR TILES,Ive just used 4 masonry bits to drill one hole on hammer setting,whats going on.?
Yes it is the masonry bits that wear out,though on normal ceramic tiles they glide through.
use a glass drilling bit and turn hammer of , once ur thru the glaze (thats the hardest bit of the tile) it should fly thru, glass bit's gona cost about £5
id try that before going for diamond bits ...save ur money , most diy places will sell a glass cutting bit .
and ye , put some tape on tile , will stop the bit shooting round the tile
