Does hilti have the best cordless drills?
Outside of the fact that this has nothing to do with Land Phones, it's a matter of personal preference and whatever Consumer Reports says.
You said drills, so that means more than one model. I own a DeWalt XRP hammer drill that's my best cordless ever. It also cost me 3x more than I paid for my first cordless. I have a Makita 10.2 impact drill that's a close second, but I've also owned a Ryobi, a Panasonic, a Milwaukee, and a Hitachi. All are/were good for the price and performance in the application used.
With today's new Lithium batteries and all the accessories, it's probably better to look at the items that go with your cordless and the price. Porter Cable has a horrible drill, but some neat accessories like a rotary drill (RotoZip like), a flashlight, a work light, three types of saws (circular, jig, and "sawzall", and an impact driver that you can buy as accessories to the basic kit.
So, do your homework, look for price, performance, weight, and torque. A heavy cordless that you're using all day isn't a lot of fun.
